 Voting Pre-Registration Deadline Friday

(Boise, Idaho) – Friday, October 11th is the deadline to pre-register to vote at VoteIdaho.gov ahead of the November 5th General Election. Voters are encouraged to register or update their registration online at VoteIdaho.gov or by visiting their county elections office.

This pre-registration deadline is particularly important for those opting to vote by absentee ballot. Requests for absentee ballots are accepted until October 25th , provided registration (or changes to registration) are completed by October 11th . Voters may register online and request an absentee ballot at VoteIdaho.gov.

“Checking to make sure your voter registration is up-to-date is the best way to ensure a smooth and easy voting experience at the polls. Make a plan and be prepared to vote in the upcoming Tuesday, November 5th General Election,” said Idaho Secretary of State Phil McGrane.
